Accommodations
We have three great options for hotels lined up in Old Town, Downtown, and Lincoln Park. Why these neighborhoods? Nate and Anne have lived in River North (between Old Town and Downtown) and worked right in the Loop for the past three years. Come take advantage of all the fun in our neighborhood!
Hotel Lincoln is across the street from A New Leaf. Right on the edge of Lincoln Park and Old Town, it is a great location! Call: (312) 254-4700 (Queen – $269; 2 Doubles – $299)
Palmer House is nearby and right in the heart of the downtown Loop. The Palmer House is a fantastic historic hotel (truly the Gilded Age) and worth visiting when in Chicago! Group Code: SWI, Call: (877) 865-5321 (King or 2 Doubles – $299)
Days Inn Chicago is just up the street and in the heart of the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Group Code: ISTS, Call: (773) 525-7010 (1 Double – $147; 1 King – $172)
Make sure you ask for the group rate. Rooms outside the block might be quite a bit more. Chicago hotels will be packed for an international conference October 16th and 17th, so book your rooms early if you can join us!
Activities
Below are some ideas we are preparing! Full itinerary will be emailed before the 17th!
One of the best activities in Chicago is touring the architecture by boat. We will be coordinating a boat tour–weather permitting–for those who plan to be in town.
Open House Chicago 2015 is the weekend you will be in town! Chicago’s famous architecture will be open to the public for inside tours and information. Nate has volunteered with OHC the past two years and highly recommends guests take advantage of Chicago’s great architecture, opened to the public. To see some of the best highlights, we strongly recommend these itineraries! Email us if you’d like a PDF with the addresses for these options!
Rain or shine, we are excited to enjoy some cool gardens in the Chicago area. An easily accessible Garfield Park Conservatory will allow us a fun place to gather and catch up. Just down the Green ‘El’ Line towards, the conservatory has both indoor and outdoor space! On Friday, we’ll hang around Hotel Lincoln and Old Town to welcome everyone to town! Call or text to see where we are and come hang out with us!
Check your email with a complete schedule of events!

Getting Here
Flying: Chicago’s two major airports, O’Hare and Midway, are an easy El ride away from downtown. If you fly, avoiding renting a car is highly recommended!
Driving: parking near the wedding site and at hotels can be difficult, but it is doable! A New Leaf is located at 1820 North Wells Street.
